Pre-Kindergarten students going into Kindergarten next school year and Kindergarten students going into 1st grade next school year will be taking graduation pictures on Wednesday, April 18th. Please be sure to have your child at school on April 18th. There will not be a make-up day.
Our March awards assembly was held on Friday, March 25, 2012. Students were recognized for academic excellences as well as improvement in their academics or behavior.
Each month, teachers focus on teaching one of McGill’s Core Values. During the months of March, students learned about and practiced Communication. One student from each class receives a Core Value tee shirt. During the month of April, students will learn the Core Value Cooperation.

Parents enacted the uniform policy, so that all students would be wearing the same clothing. Please help us enforce the uniform policy by making sure that your child has a clean uniform to wear each day.
Our Head Start pre-kindergarten students are beginning the transition into kindergarten. They will be working with Ms. Kathy using the Pre-School Open Court curriculum. The Open Court curriculum is the same program used by the Kindergarten teachers.
