Our March Family Thursday will be held on Thursday, March 8th. It is a special occasion when family members are invited to go into their child’s classroom and read to their child for one half hour. Our February awards assembly was held on Thursday, February 23rd. Students were recognized for academic excellences as well as improvement in their academics or behavior.
Each month, teachers focus on teaching one of McGill’s Core Values. During the month of February students learned about and practiced Honesty. One student from each class received a Honesty tee shirt. During the month of March, students will learn the Core Value, Communication.
The Parent Committees meets the second Thursday of each month. Please plan to attend the next meeting on Thursday, March 8th at 5:30 P.M. A light meal and child care will be provided.
On Thursday, February 23rd McGill celebrated the 100th Day of School. Students and Families mad posters depicting 100 items in observance of the day. The posters were displayed in the school auditorium. Each classroom toured the auditorium to look at the posters.
